About Mel? I have always been passionate about design and artistic beauty. I took all the photographs you see here myself (which is hugely challenging at times as I am not a photographer) and I personally prepare each recipe and craft. Someone described it as my labour of love and they were absolutely right.

I have a history of art degree from the Courtauld Institute of Art (University of London) and a Masters from Sotheby's Institute of Art (validated by the University of Manchester) in ceramics, furniture and fine art. A skill of organising celebrations came through creating extravagant large scale charity events, which led to appearing in prime time television programs on ITV and BBC2.
